I looked at the link to the city in Honduras. I live in Mexico and the houses are very similar. Here they cost 500,000+. I do not believe the prices of those houses...I think its a ploy by that guy to sell houses to dumb Americans. Bait and switch..
If you want to move to another country you have to go there first, trust me Betsy. I have lived in Mexico for 18 years. You live well in some ways and you lack things in others.
The reason the guy asked you about checking into "gringo" schools is that most ex-pats tend to stick together and not blend with the locals. They go to their own American schools and their kids dont learn Spanish.
There is a great website called expatriot.com (I think thats it) they have info from every country in the world, message boards, etc. It has a lot of info.

Interestingly enough, my girl friend's sister just got back from Honduras where she was a nanny for some rich family. She did get denge fever and the other nanny got stabbed. I don't know what city she was in I'll have to check into it.
What are the Internet options there?

Holy Frak Betsy! Vickie's been your padawan learner for how long now?
Bring duct tape next time.
Another gut-bustin' good time here at the office.

I followed Kris and Betsy from Croncast to Life in the Can, but I get the show old school but coming to the website and download it. RSS feeds have no power over me.

Kris- be careful with your drink mixes.
"a
British teenager's head swelled to the size of a soccer
ball after she consumed a Baileys-chili-tequila-absinthe-
ouzo-vodka-cider-and-gin cocktail."

The last show was good - had me yearning for more, as usual. Where are the newer sessions and episodes? We miss you guys!

We'll be back soon. Monday to be exact. Things have been very crazy at casa de smith the last two weeks.
Everything is good, but I don't think we've been this stressed in a long time.
